An Anzac ceremony was held at Glenbrook School. It was run by Year 8, and a few important visitors were invited to attend.
Have our kids got what it takes to crew the Westpac Rescue Helicopter? All of our children will be asked to participate in training, and ultimately the completion of a fitness test based around the actual regime performed by the crew of the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter. The 6 challenges consist of a 70m stretcher carry, 12 pushups, 2km pack walk, 20 situps, 5 chinups/80 sec hang from bar, 4 mins of skipping. The test is on Thursday 27th May.
