About Glenbrook School
Glenbrook School is a full primary located in a rural setting on the main Waiuku to Drury highway. Current Roll is around 200. Decile 8.
Whilst traditionally the Glenbrook district was a large farming community, many families are now small block holders who run their units intensively or commute elsewhere for work. Calf Club is one of the traditional highlights of our school year.

Living in Glenbrook allows families to enjoy the "best of both worlds", where students are offered the variety of an urban school whilst retaining the personal, individual nature of a rural school.
Our students are given every opportunity to develop to their potential both academically and culturally. Students who have special learning needs are supported and assisted to ensure their development is ongoing. Abilities and strengths in sport, music and art are well provided for. Our students achieve well academically and have an enviable record when competing in inter-school sport. The Board of Trustees, Principal and staff are all committed to improving children's learning and achievement.

Glenbrook School has 11 classrooms, with 8 used for classes, and others used for music, dance and drama, and extention programmes. It has an administration block, a modern school hall as well as a large swimming pool that is used by the school and by members of the community. There is a computer suite with 15 computers. Our library, which was the original school building (130 years old), has undergone extensive renovations, making it a vibrant learning environment.
